Guide Lines
For parenting,
household hints books and Christmas titles, we do not have any guidelines.
That is because we are NOT looking for new manuscripts in these areas.
This statement has never stopped folks from sending us their ideas so
you are certainly welcome to write us. It's just that we are quite small
and publish very few new titles. But you never know...

*SASE"
means " a self-addressed stamped envelope." We do not
respond to those who do not include them.
Please
do NOT send your query by email. And, assuming others feel as
we do, never send an email with an attachment. We simply do not open them
from folks we don't know.
Publishing
Advice
If you wish to contact me for publishing advice, I am not really the best
person to write to. If you're new to writing or publishing, I will tell
you what I tell others: check out the excellent books on the subject.
For a good overview, I suggest HOW TO GET HAPPILY PUBLISHED by Judith
Applebaum.
If you are looking to do-it-yourself, there are many good titles available
such as
Dan Poynter's THE SELF-PUBLISHING MANUAL (805-968-7277)
and materials by John Kremer including 1001 WAYS TO MARKET YOUR BOOK.
(800-796-6130 or JohnKremer@bookmarket.com).
And there is MUCH available on the Internet. Seek and ye shall find. After
that, tenacity and a good product (or a needed product) is mainly
what it takes.
If you're looking for a job in publishing, it is hard for me to give advice
as I never "worked my way up"
in the publishing world.
And
remember those immortal words of advice about what to write if you wish
to make money.
The answer is RANSOM NOTES!
Good
luck.
